REALIZE YOUR RIDING POTENTIAL

MTB Coaching & Guiding Services

  • 1 on 1 Coaching

Work closely with a PMBIA level 1 and USA Cycling Level 3 certified coach with former pro riding experience. Learn fundamentals and/or improve upon skills you may already have to safely ride faster, further, and have more fun. All abilities and ages welcome! E-bike lessons are available as well.

  • Group Lessons and Clinics

Group lessons have a maximum of 4 participants and are lead by a PMBIA and USA cycling certified coach. These lessons will focus on what the group specifies as an interest and will be adapted for ability level. E-bikes welcome.

Clinics are in the development for Introduction to Enduro or “All-Mtn” riding. These will be run by PMBIA certified instructors and former pro riders. Stay tuned for future updates.

  • Guided Rides

Sick of constantly looking at trail forks? Go for a guided ride based on riding preferences and abilities. Trail networks available Boston-Lot(Landmark), MT. Peg, Green Woodlands, Rattlesnake(NH), Union Village Dam, and Ascutney. Other networks available out of state per request. Some of the above networks allow e-bikes and I am happy to lead a guided ride on E-bikes.

Coach Kelly “Rippa”

My name is Kelly and I raced as an elite enduro rider for several years. I have 30 years of riding experience and 20 years of varied race experience. I am a PMBIA level 1 certified mountain bike instructor and a licensed USA Cycling Coach (level 3). Prior to my riding experience, I was a Division 1 NCAA athlete and went on to coach at the same level. My experiences as a college coach helped me transition to working with mountain bike athletes. I approach coaching with patience and seek to help athletes find their inner potential. Sometimes this requires working with performance anxiety and other insecurities that get in the way of going to a group ride or race for the first time. Safety is something that is emphasized and all lessons are catered to the individual. The next most important thing is that learning and riding is fun. Once safety and fun have been established then it is time to learn through demos and practice.

I have had the opportunity to race against some amazing opponents and riders I look up to such as Marla Streb, Alison Zimmer, Sue Haywood, Dawn Bourque, and other factory riders. I have coached and/or guided at the Highland Women’s Freeride Festival, She Jumps events at Thunder Mountain Bike Park, and provided 1 on 1 individual instruction to adults and children. I love bikes, all bikes and I don’t discriminate. I have raced Downhill, on the road including the Green Mountain Stage Race, XC races (a few pro), marathon and 24 hour races, enduro, and local ‘Broduro” races, which are all about the fun. I won two pro enduro races during my career and was on the podium multiple times. I prided myself on my consistency and making good choices to minimize risk. I was sponsored by Renthal, Hayes, and Vittoria/Geax while racing. I was also fortunate enough to be sponsored by two local shops over the years and then gained sponsors that their teams had. I have now owned more than 50 bikes and feel strongly that I can help provide input regarding your bike set-up, parts, and help you narrow down what you are looking for in a new ride.
